Books I Have Recently Read and Loved and Eaten Food With I have read the two previous titles by Jane Harper and had to read this one when it came out!  The novel takes place in the Australian desert where there are few people living and the book begins with Nathan and Bub Bright traveling to the desolate area where their brother Cameron's body was discovered.  The story follows the Bright family as Nathan works to discover if Cameron's death was a suicide or a murder, all told in the haunting shadow of Nathan's late, abusive father.  Harper does an excellent job of making you feel hot, uncomfortable and dusty, setting the atmosphere for the entire story.  I was seriously looking over my shoulder while I read this book.  This book messed with my head (in a good way).  The story mimics being inside a brain severed from reality and I enjoyed every minute of it.  In 1935 Prague, Dr. Viktor Kosarek becomes convinced that there lies within all kille...
